SMS Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to text messages sent by Foundesk. By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to receive text messages as described below.
We do not sell or share your mobile information. No mobile information, phone number, or SMS consent will be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, except with the subcontractors and service providers required to deliver the messaging service, such as our messaging platform and telecommunications carriers.
1. Program description
Foundesk sends text messages relating to replies to enquiries you submit, call scheduling and reminders, project and support communication during an engagement, and, where you have opted in, occasional information about Foundesk services.
2. How you opt in
You may consent to receive text messages by submitting a form on foundesk.io that includes a clear consent statement, by texting our published number first, by providing your number when booking a call and agreeing to be contacted by text, or by signing a Foundesk agreement that lists text as a communication method.
Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.
3. Message frequency
Message frequency varies by activity. Booking and reminder sequences typically send 1 to 3 messages around a scheduled call. Active clients may receive messages relating to their project as needed. Marketing messages, if you have opted in, are typically fewer than 4 per month.
4. Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Foundesk does not charge for text messages, but your mobile carrier may charge for messages sent or received according to your plan.
5. Opting out
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving text messages. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts unless you opt in again. You may also reply UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT, or contact us at hello@foundesk.io. Opting out of text messages does not remove you from email communication.
6. Help
Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or email hello@foundesk.io.
7. Carriers and delivery
Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may change without notice.
8. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder of, or authorized to use, the mobile number you provide. Notify us if your number changes or is reassigned.
9. Messages sent by businesses we build
Foundesk configures messaging tools inside platforms that client businesses subscribe to in their own names. Messages you receive from one of those businesses are sent under that business's own account and consent practices, and that business is responsible for obtaining consent and honoring opt-out requests. Replying STOP to those messages stops messages from that business. These SMS Terms cover messages sent by Foundesk itself.
10. Automated and AI replies
Some replies are generated automatically, including by an AI assistant, and may not be reviewed by a person before sending. Automated replies can be inaccurate or incomplete. Do not send sensitive personal, financial, health, or confidential information by text. For anything requiring certainty, ask to speak with a person.
11. Privacy
Information collected through text messaging is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Message content, phone numbers, and timestamps may be retained as described there.
12. Changes
We may update these SMS Terms. The effective date above reflects the current version.
